Now was as good a time as any, Espia loved her girlfriend but an important part of any relationship was meeting the family. And for Espia, there was only one other member that Tangle needed to meet. And said family member was about as subtle as a stampede... walking up to the lab alone should have been a big enough hint.
"....Well, easy to see where Charmette got her love of science from huh?" She laughed a bit before taking out her key card to get the door open. "Forgive the mess, Kayla tends to be...sporadic in where she puts things until I tell her to pick it all up."
With a beep from the scanner she pushed the lab door open and held it for Tangle to enter. It had been a while since she'd come to Copter's place without having to drag her out of one of her projects.
"Copter! Where you at? If you're under the Tornado again, I will haul you out of there myself!" She wasnt joking either...
The building itself was rather plain looking from the outside, and might be mistook for a common office building. It had no markings to hint at it's true origins and that was mostly be design. The Vixen didn't like to be bothered and so kept her lab somewhat of a secret for the general population. But once the outside door was opened up and it led into a hallway, that acted as an airlock hissing as the two girls stepped inside.
Kayla was a brilliant girl who would probably have had her doctorate by now if not for the war. But now she spent her days trying to figure out what Iva's next move was, or tinkering with her machines. Today she was tinkering with one of Iva's latest devices, something she and velocity had found tucked away in one of her bases. It like the eggs used in many of Iva's bots, was designed to leech the life force from living creatures---only this one was much larger and an enhanced design for a full sized mobian.
The voice of Espia made the Fox lift her goggles and peak over the railing of the upper floor of her lab looking down at the two with a bright smile!
" Espia! and don't worry--- i'm doing REAL work today not ya know, tinkering with my baby! what brings you to my humble abode on this fine...day? night? what ever time it is! "
