I went absolutely slack-jawed at seeing En with his hair down during his little hair cut scene. I never expected his uber anime-esque hair to be addressed. Hayashida's thoughtful detailing is bizarre and dark but also really delightful & funny - I devoured the manga after finishing the show and looking at her work has really let me think to embrace being messy as hell when I sketch <3
