I caught a cold and am laying low in my comfortable bed wrapped in these beautiful linens that I bought for practically nothing at tag sales this summer. It's all new-ish so a bit of laundering with Dr Bronner's was all that was needed. My little corner of the world. I read here. I sit on this old and beloved couch and look out at the birds in my garden. I daydream here. This couch was the first piece of furniture I bought when a big door in my life closed. There are always new beginnings I've learned. There is always hope for a brighter day. I know this to be true.
