A follower sent me these while asking for news (and fresh pics) from Jónsi (Iceland 2004 and 2012) but unfortunately I can’t help: the man is quite a ghost online nowadays.
Do any Icelandic friends know anything about him?
**UPDATE**
Jónsi seems to be no more on the edge of popularity in the music world: he’s working at an insurance company (in HR) and singing at weddings.
¿Tienes fotos de Sákis Rouvás jovencito?
Let’s witness the complete evolution of this Greek god!

hottest irish eurovision guys?
Well, if we go through the 2000s entries, I choose Chris Doran from 2004.
Then we can name Brendan Murray (2017), Ryan Dolan (2013), Nicky Byrne (2016) and, for the daddies department, Brian Kennedy from 2006.
Ik It's Kind of unreal but I want Sakis Rouvas to return to the contest
Not at all, my friend: Sakis could really teach some young folks how a true ESC performance must be done!
It's Time For 2004
The 2004 Eurovision Song Contest was held in Istanbul after Turkiyë won the previous year. This contest saw the debut of the notorious Semi-Final, which allowed more countries to participate, and doing away with the relegation rule (which may come into place if we have a large influx of countries joining the contest).
There were also a total of four debuting countries (Albania, Andorra, Belarus, and Serbia & Montenegro), with 1/2 of them finishing in the top 10 and the other half NQ'ing.
Ukraine would get their first of three wins (and this was only their 2nd year in the contest!) with Ruslana and her song "Wild Dances."
My top 5 was (from 5 to 1): Sweden ("It Hurts" by Lena Philipsson), Spain ("Para llenarme de ti" by Ramón), France ("À chaque pas" by Jonatan Cerrada), Iceland ("Heaven" by Jónsi), and North Macedonia ("Life" by Toše Proeski [RIP]).
I can't believe that we have 2 more years left until my goal! The next two weeks are going to be fun!
