Nearly a decade ago I was hunting down classic skate kicks when I ran into @beanb86 via eBay (this was before instagram). The dude had tons of amazing shoes and sold off some K2s and rockets 🙌 to me. Back in 2011 he sent me an email with a pic of some Navy/Bronze and Black/Teal K2s. He said he had the Navy/Bronze, but could possibly get me the others (see 4th pic). Fast forward to 2019 and I post a pic of my current K2 collection on CHOMP asking the audience to sell me missing pairs. I receive a message from @dizzle_problems that says I’ve got Black/Teal in size 12......I’m stoked and ready to cop. After talking to him a bit, he mentioned a collector who drove across Cali back in the day to buy some shoes off of him. I sent him the pic I received back in 2011 from Beau and he was like, “holy shitttttt, that’s my old couch”.....Small fuckin world. Thanks to both of you guys for getting me 1 step closer to completing the set of K2s.
