Not those on command burps that people do to be funny or loud

I'm talking about a guy who reaaaaally needs to get that gas out so you can hear him pushing and trying to work it up

for all the eructo/burp/emeto folks out there, i used to have RCPD. which is a thing that prohibits people from burping. it’s something to do with the sphincter in your throat not opening properly to let air out and it causes: EXTREME bloating, pain, excessive farting, and this weird gurgling noise from your throat when the gas comes up but goes straight back down, there’s a hell of a lot of info on the ‘RCPD’ reddit page. for as long as i can remember i haven’t been able to burp, maybe doing tiny tiny ones accidentally a few times a year. i think this, partnered with emetophobia helped create and exacerbate said fetishes.

In January of this year i got an awful illness that caused me to have coughing fits and i wouldn’t be able to stop, these events were so intense they made me retch and over time my body realised what positioning my throat had to be in to produce a burp, since the positioning is so similar to retching/vomiting and now 6 months on, my ability to burp is as regular as someone who has never dealt with RCPD. and this last year has been mind-blowing. the lack of pain and bloating has been incredible.
