He looks up from his notes when Katashi addresses him, but he’s frozen solid when lips collide with his. It’s brief, nothing more than a peck, but the shock of it makes a usually cool-headed Daichi burn with embarrassment so plain and obvious on his face it’s a wonder that he doesn’t crumble his desk beneath his palms.

Syllables tumble out from between Daichi’s covered lips, a mockery of an actual response as he tries desperately to recover from his trip. Clearly, there’s little hope left for his dignity, but he’s trying to return what he can. Unable to meet Katashi’s gaze, he stares instead at a button on his uniform.

the other male is absurdly tall; atsuko has to literally tip to as much as possible to even reach his face - a small kiss is placed upon her friend’s cheek, before she loses her balance and falls into the boy. a string of giggles bubble past the flame users lips as she leans against the second year.

       you’ve noticed the chill as you watch the small screen of katashi’s phone, the plot a bit muddled in your head as sleep begins to tug at your eyelids. you’ve almost nodded off when you feel the blanket shift to cover your arms, the warmth easing the chill from your body. normally such a thing would cause you to start, jerk awake, but you simply crack an eye open  &&  glance up at your dear friend with a small smile.

And all too suddenly, Daichi is self-conscious. He covers his mouth as if he has already begun snoring, though it’s mostly to cover up the warmth that he feels in his cheeks already.
