BTW, Ini doesn't actually have a physical form anymore--they can only possess Gem's body, so the Frisk you see there is more like a projection of what they think of themselves to look like.

Also... the height chart, man--you wouldn't think the monsters aside from Artemis were fucking tall as fuck with how the humans are drawn! They look much younger due to the style orz

Fun fact, Gem and Delta weren't supposed to be the tallest. Gem snuck in a few inches on me. Don't ask how that happened. I've just accepted that he's gotta be taller than Light.

Artemis is STILL such a small fry. What a baby.

So, I heard Errortale’s Ending and plot twists were revealed. And I got a bit, uh. Inspired.

I think a few people might have noticed that I deleted some art and stuff... yeah, I was cleaning out some stuff an decided that I really was like. Burying some shit by trying to remove BlackLight here from Errortale. I only ended up confusing myself, more and more, when in reality, he should have just... stayed an Error to begin with. That’s what his story was about, and I was haphazardly trying to create a new AU/story for him that matched the original while still removing Errortale from his design and character. 

While I still like the concepts of Starseeds and more peaceful world enders, I think that Light’s story was too vicious and violent to be anything but an Error. So, back to being an error he goes, and an error he shall remain.

I don’t want to get into why I wanted to separate myself from Errortale, as it’s buried incidents that I’d rather not get brought up. Either way, I’m not sure what to really... do with him. 

It’s no secret that Danganronpa V3 has sucked me into hyperfixation hell, but I feel kind of sad just, leaving this poor guy to a dead story. Hmm.

Maybe I’ll find something to do with him. Maybe when I’m done in Danganronpa and inevitably come back to Undertale because Deltarune is most definitely going to drag me back when it’s complete, I can promise you that.

Still. I’d like to explore BlackLight’s story more. His story was about trauma, how trauma warps people and breaks minds, how a world ender like him could find peace and heal, and make amends. It was quite a heartwarming story.

I definitely would like to visit it again someday.

BTW, BlackLight is a Dancetale Error!Sans. I know the recent reveal had Errortale!Sans being a bad end for Aftertale!Sans, so I thought I’d clarify that this is a very different Error. He’s also got some handplates in him, ala why he wears the gloves. Gotta hide those plates.

Decided to be real extra and add a BG finally. I figured Outertale would make a great setting to show off all the glow~

For those of you who don’t know, this is my baby Blacklight (Though he mainly goes by just “Light”) and he is an ErrorDance muse (A mix of Errortale and Dancetale)

You might be asking why his leg doesn’t have error glitches, and that’s because it’s a prosthetic leg! It’s not easy to tell when he’s wearing his full get up but you can kind of see it. Ehe.

He’s one of the main protagonists (Yes I know, he’s an Error, but he’s a Blackberry Error, and if you understand what that even means you get a cookie) for a project called “A Tale of Vagabonds,” which--don’t get your hopes up--is a project that’s been kind of developing itself in the back of my mind for years and just won’t leave me alone :’D Once in a while I cave into my inner desires and make art for it.

Will I ever do anything with the AU? Who knows. I’m planning on adding it to my official list of projects so there’s that? xD; I don’t really know what to do with it is the thing. Like I have story ideas but do I try to make it a comic? An ask blog? An animation project??? orz

Fun fact: I was listening to this song on repeat because this mod is effectively what revived my Undertale Phase in the first place.

This time, I used the more "professional" art app, and I do like it... but I really wish that it wouldn't register my short strokes as me trying to color pick, orz that was annoying.

Light voice: ... I can’t dress myself... JADEN COME HELP ME--

So yeah. I decided to turn to asymmetrical jackets once again to help make Light look more unique! I used this jacket as a loose reference and added my own flare to it this time~ It is still a hoodie, btw!

I also decided to do a “layers” kind of thing where you look at all of the clothes Light wears layer by layer. I also added a line where there were no “error glitches” so you can see the design better!

I avoided glitchifying things I knew for sure Light got after he errors out--like his prosthetic leg and the hand with the plate. It doesn’t really make sense to me that things that weren’t errored out with him would have glitches.

Man, Error designs are always just soooo busy;;; there’s all of the glitches and the “ERRORs”, it was getting way too much that I had to get rid of the strings I wanted to toe on his arms and legs... I actually had to reduce the amount of glitches but it looked kinda wrong with any less...

The idea is that Light’s scythe was corrupted when he was, so it glows blue when it’s about to use a normal attack, and doesn’t glow when he’s about to use a “blue” attack. Basically it’s reversed.

Hey look what I finally finished!

I couldn’t figure out what background to make for this that would compliment the glowing effects and all the bits an bobs, but I decided a simple BG would do the trick :’D
