Content Warning: This is just a rambling of thoughts about the new game Error143's Micah Yujin and how absolutely amazing he is.

Let's start off easy. Micah, as far as the character's in visual novels, from my experience, is honestly so refreshing. It just feels so lovely to see dark-skinned characters with the ability to be seen as a love interest. The fact that the fan base loves him so much makes me love him even more. I've played quite a few of these, the most recent being Obey Me!, I wasn't a huge fan. Not with how they had set up both of the darker complexion characters. I didn't care for it, but that's for another post.

Micah, while not a new concept in terms of characterization, in terms of portrayal, 's like a cool breeze both in the fandom's reception of him and his characterization in gameplay.

I only started playing a few weeks ago, and I've yet to unlock all the endings, but where I am now, I honestly can say that there need to be more games like this. Simplistic as it feels, I want to see more warmly received dark-skinned characters. I want to see more dynamic characters with all the little nuances in their emotions.

So, to anyone on the fence about the game, go ahead, get it. It's so cute and simple, and with how open it seems in its storytelling, I know that those looking for a new fandom to sink their teeth into, those writing fanfics and OCs, will enjoy this.
