Nothing much! Just doing the same-old. Working, drawing, hanging out with friends when I can. Guess the only actively ~new~ thing is I’m trying not to be on social media before bed anymore? Trying to read books, take a nice warm bath, or paint instead! It’s been helping a lot, and making it easier to wake up, even.

Despite having risen to the position of the Monsters' Ambassador to the Humans, Papyrus sometimes missed his old life goal--becoming one of the Royal Guard. He compensated for this by sometimes using language for his current job that he might have used as a Royal Guardsman. In particular, he liked referring to his tasks as "missions."

Today's mission was to oversee the start of the overhaul the city was doing on the community center, to make it more accessible to monsters. Things seemed to be running smoothly, for the most part, other than a couple of people who had shown up to protest the modifications.

Papyrus did his best to ignore their yelling from across the street. "Are we ready to begin construction?" he asked the superintendent, who was overseeing all the details.

"Yes, sir." The superintendent nodded. He glanced at the protesters. "Don't worry, they won't bother us. We won't hear them over all the racket we're about to make."

Papyrus suppressed a smile. "Good to hear. Well, I'm supposed to stay for a bit while you get started. I'm really excited for our plans, though! I think monsters and humans will have a lot of fun here after it's finished."

"Right on!" The superintendent smiled and stepped away to instruct the workers where to begin.

As he watched, Papyrus thought he might have liked work like this--construction and architecture and all that. Those would be really interesting missions--while he liked being the Ambassador overall, it could get really boring sometimes.

do you know what kind of ant this is? she has a long, red-orange abdomen with dark brown spines on it. her antennae are unusually long, and her legs are darker than the rest of her red-orange body

luigi - you all know how much i love luigi so i won't retread too much of that ground lmao but god. i love luigi. i love him so much. he's my best friend in the world ever. the sheer autistic swagger is off the charts. nintendo give me more of this man. i hope he's speaking with a medical professional about his heavily disordered sleeping behaviour and chronic anxiety. etc etc etc

As far as "cool looking" is concerned: the eye thing in the boss battle. The eye thing is COOL.
