What is your favorite zine of the moment? LEEN Zine #5 by Eileen Chavez. Everything Eileen creates makes my heart hurt from how beautiful it all is.

What do you think of when you think of Olympia? I mostly think of when I was still dating my one-day-to-be spouse and we took our first big trip together ever. We'd been living in NYC and travelled to Washington for a wedding. Have grown up listening to so much music from Olympia and reading so may zines from Olympia, I insisted that we get off the plane and go there first. So mostly think of eating breakfast and drinking coffee and walking around when I think of Olympia because to this day, whenever I'm there these are the things I seem to do.

What’s your favorite zine hack? I'm a big fan of making a blank version of whatever zine I'm about to create and using it to sketch, make notes, and brainstorm in. This way I have a physical zine to flip through while I'm making drawings and writing.

What are you gonna be for Halloween? I'm going to most likely be dressed up as an artist working too late on too many deadlines.

What motivates you to finish a zine? Wanting to start the next one.

What is your weather prediction for this year's fest? Hopefully sunny and mild because I'm planning on camping with my family while we're up there.
