*they are from our world (1) but exist in nier's world (2) yet are seeing parallel events from caim's world! (3) very interesting stuff!
Not only this! We have other worlds as well with the other story characters in this game totaling it to around 5 at a minimum. (Flower/Clone War Earth and AI Utopia Earth)
"Everything is canon" takes on a new meaning now that we have multiple opposing histories of humanity. Basically, any story written by Taro has the opportunity to become as important as the mainline games!
I miss Nier Re[in]carnation so much... I think.... it might've been my favorite of the trilogy.........
If you don't believe me saying I was screaming from excitement throughout the entirety of Arc 3, just remember how insane I get over the possibility of Fio's humanity.

VoC 3 might be the best one but hoooolyyy heck, some of the dungeons are so monotonous but I guess you need to have a filter somewhere
