Numbered sections in logic books
There are three logic books I know with numbered sections: Schechter’s Classical and Nonclassical Logics, Graham Priest’s An Introduction to Non-Classical Logic, and Wittgenstein’s Tractatus.
An acquaintance once pointed out that each time he read these numbered sections, he felt like there was a Germanic voice intoning “Eins! Zwei! Drei!” at him. But in all honesty, I find it rather charming.
