Idk if you answered this before but why do you think Cory didn’t want to give Bradly the evening news position ? Is it because he felt like she wasn’t ready or was it because she wasn’t testing well and felt like she wouldn’t do well in the evening news? Mia thought she would excel in evening news since the hard hitting stuff was what she was known for previously .
Or did Cory want her during the day since he’d still be around her?I would assume he would want her around because he still considers her a truth teller and would like to keep that movement going. But at the same time he did mention in the first episode of season 2 that he wants to create stability at UBA and I wondered if stability is making sure that he cleans out the toxicity of the place and Bradley is a representation of the clean up he is trying to do. Anyways love to hear your thoughts . Doing a giant rewatch rn lol
Ok do my best to answer all of these <3 Honestly....I think it was not that she wasn't ready for the role...but also seemed like the network wanted to get rid of her in general... She was doing bad with ratings and testings...and in general at the beginning didn't seem that happy, and Cory was doing his best to protect her and save her job...I think Mia was just being diplomatic because she seemed to know (SUSPECTILY SO) that Bradley meant a lot to Cory...and best way to appeal to him...was basically saying she's good...but she might find a better fit elsewhere....
