At the start of the year, we’re wrapping up sharing our most popular images from 2018. Few got more attention than this one. You see, since April 1972, a twelve-foot-tall, 37,500-pound red granite copy of TTU’s seal has rested beside an elongated fountain in the Amon G. Carter Plaza at Tech’s official main entrance at the intersection of Broadway and University. This is a photo of several unfortunate fellows attempted to erect it.
