Mastermind sighed.

"What is it?"

His gaze fell on the Highlander's face, who was currently forming a pout on his mouth while persistently lying on his laps.

"Nothing." Came the curt reply.

Add did not believe him.

He placed the holographic screen down on the coffee table in front of them and pulled off his gloves. Ercnard blinked, wondering what the mad scientist was up to—

And he had his answer.

Add touched Ercnard's cheeks gently. "What is it..?" He repeated the same question, but with a more concerned voice this time, and a more softened expression.

It was rare to see that.

Ercnard blinked. It took him sometimes to part his lips and blurted out some words. His reply came almost whisper-like, caressing Add's eardrums like a small whisper.

"I miss you."

The scientist chuckled. "You see me everyday, don't you?" His lips shifted into a mild smile, and— Was it only Ercnard's imagination— Add's cheeks slowly burnt into life with a slight red colour of a blush.

The Highlander gulped. He tried to find his voice again while being lost in the gorgeousness of his lover. Sometimes, Ercnard wondered why did Add love him, and a lonely Highlander at that..

"Erc?" Add's gentle voice woke the dreamy Ercnard, and he simply smiled idiotically.
