lup sat curled up on the couch, wrapped in a warm, fuzzy red blanket, not having moved since she woke up that morning. she had gotten a bit of energy to make herself some toast, and she had, but anything after that was a bit too much for her to handle. so, she promptly grabbed a book and plopped herself down on the couch afterward. she could’ve gone back to bed, something that would’ve probably been a better idea, but barry had gone to run errands that morning, and sleeping without him in it wasn’t ideal at the moment.
she stared down at the book settled, open in her lap. it was something angus had recommended her and she had to admit that it was pretty damn good. though, right now, her eyes scanned the same line over and over again without soaking in any of the information. she groaned.
however, lup’s head snapped up, a bit too fast, when she heard barry return home, and a bit of a relieved look flashed across her face. having him there with her would be easier, he always knew what to do on days like this. ( she was so thankful to have him. )
❝ barry? ❞ she called, not moving from her spot. ❝ baabe... ❞
