So, after I missed the Eraserheads party @ Gerry's, I headed strait to Hollywood. The venue, The Palladium, was located on the corner of Sunset and El Centro. I parked on the lot on El Centro for only $5 all night. It was still early, so I decided to get myself a drink at the Bowery. After all it was happy hour, right?

So, I decided to not wait in line and try to get my ticket. There were people waiting there when I got there. A lot of people wrapping the line around the corner of the block in a matter of minutes. Before the doors opened the line wrapped around the entire block.  

Flash forward, I made it inside. The venue was huge. The occupancy of the Palladium is 4,000 people, and I'm positive the over packed. If you do the math, 4,000 people @ $80 bucks a ticket = $320,000. Not a bad night for the promoters. 

Have you ever went to a concert, and the live band sounded nothing like the recordings? This was not a problem with the Eraserheads. The vocals and the sound sounded authentic, and you can tell the albums were no over mixed. 

The band had excellent report with the audience. There was on opening act, and the concert was 3 hours.
