Being Kyelre'hen's (only) postman is a breezy job on most days...at least when he doesn't have to go to THAT property. At the syllkstead, some 20 minutes by foot away from the village, lives a beast that terrorizes the hearts and minds of the villagers. A free-roaming herja bitch named Tetya (nomadic for Peaches), was tamed north of the Gates some time ago by the syllkheret who maintains the property and keeps the syllks away from the men and stock that inhabit the village. Before her taming, Tetya was a fiery daughter of the wild pack's matron, excited to defeat her mother and take charge of the pack. Her oversized body and aggressive nature make her particularly talented at causing harm on purpose.

While the young syllkheret's efforts are greatly appreciated by the villagers, they are not too keen to tell him themselves, as he rarely comes to the village, and going to him warrants entering Tetya's territory. Everyone KNOWS that she's trained well and won't attack first, they still feel the terror nonetheless.

Tetya's bonded tetenka Apricot, however, was born for the domestic life and happily greets guests. To him, life is all peaches apricots and cream!

Good thing the syllkheret only gets the occassional bill, and the postman doesn't even bother bringing in the promotional materials.

The Namegame

I've been wanting to start drawing little comics of Eradenians for a while, so why not begin with a minor lore dump?

For some context, to them Alexendrei's name is as if you named a boy born in 2026 Wolfgang or Jeremiah, very archaic and outdated. Andromeda comes from the west-most region of Cerulea, and Andromeda (the fairy) is an eastern myth. While it isn't unusual to give kids from poor families fantastical names for "good luck", taking names from the opposite side of the world is unorthodox.

Date or a hostage situation? Nobody can tell...

Maria loves cuddling with her lucklyts, making sure to properly distribute her attention amongst all of them. Lucklyts are believed to be "misfortune eaters" because they are prone to injury when in captivity. Maria does her best to set an example as a princess and takes good care of her lucklyt army :)

Peaceful picnic

By herja standards Tetja can be considered a pampered and spoiled princess. Sno feeds her the best cuts of meat and she even gets very frequent treats! But she still craves the thrill of the hunt. That poor ervasar male never saw her coming.

She is polite enough to go out hunting for wild ervasar and other wild animals, but sometimes she slips up and snatches one from a neighbor's flock. Luckily it's a very rare occurrence since Sno has beaten the habit out of her :D

The softest place in the world

Sno has a big weak spot for soft textures and gentle smells, and Maria is (to him) the softest and the nicest smelling person ever.

Temra wants to show everyone that he's on the top of the world, but his companions don't seem that interested in participating....

The weather in Alvecharren, north of the Gates, is very rarely warm enough to go shirtless, but you can bet that young nomads will use any opportunity to do so.

Caught in the Act

Syllk cubs are notorious troublemakers, but this only becomes apparent to the world once they figure out how to walk. Hammy here snuck out of her den, snaked her way through the syllk-only tunnels, and found an innocent trashcan to terrorize. The trashcan produced a delectable tomato, but Hammy's feast was cut short by some concerned Arabeleans who stumbled upon her while throwing out their trash. Hammy was ready to lay down her life for her lovely tomato.

In the end she was safely apprehended and returned to her mother den. It's unknown if she managed to finish the tomato or not.
