LABUAN BAJO, FLORES, INDONESIA
RINCA ISLAND
DAY 2
The second day was spent on the water. Rinca island.
Part of the Komodo National Park, the island is a UNESCO world heritage site. Apparently.
I didn't take any pictures of the komodos we saw while trekking there.
I mean none of them were in particularly good poses or lighting, overall what’s the point.
After that we found a place to stop and do some snorkeling around some reefs. We were with an acquaintance who owns a local dive shop so they got us a great spot.
There were lots of jelly fish it was pretty.
On the way back to Labuan Bajo we stopped to watch thousands of flying foxes fly out of pulau kalong towards the mainland.
I'll upload a video in a separate post.
It was enjoyable.
The first two pictures are actually from the end of the first day.
That post had enough pics though so I threw them in here.
This trip was one of those where each day was better than the last.
Stay tuned for the rest of the parts.
I think I want to go to Portland.
