The Parrotheads Lacrosse Club was est. in 2011 to place another men's club team in the state of Delaware. I was the founder of the club team and I wanted to start a team that was unique as any other. I gained my inspiration from my love of Jimmy Buffett music and the 2011 Johns Hopkins team. That year, they debuted the famous Blue Jay wings made by ZimaGear in there playoff run. I was in contact with ZimaGear shortly after to see if they could design a few Parrot Wings for our future team. That is how our look got off the ground. ZimaGear is the official sponsor and outfitter of the Parrotheads . Each year we are inspired to add an addition piece of flair to our team. In 2012, we teamed up with Maverik to create our one of a kind custom Rome gloves. This year we wanted something that no other team would have. That's where Epoch lacrosse comes into play.
