Two. Full. Years. Some people dream of reaching one year without a seizure. Some dream of one month. Or a week, a day, or a few hours. I don’t take this lightly. Two years ago I was terrified, knowing my whole life would change. Worried about how I’d get to and from work. How I’d be able to cover the cost of or manage the effort to organized rides to get around. Worried about if and when another seizure might happen, knowing each one meant another six months without driving. I’m so incredibly thankful for my doctors. To my husband. To those of you that continued to give time and care to see me through those dark days. To those of you struggling: to those whose companies don’t understand, to those who feel like it only gets harder, to those who need someone to listen that knows your struggle, I’m here. I’m felt that pain. I’ve lived that anxiety, and I’m here to tell you there are resources to help you through it. @epilepsyfdn shares some incredible training and resources. @ridekc Freedom offers options for individuals with disabilities, like Epilepsy, that make transportation affordable and manageable. @angiomaalliance shares amazing tools and research for those with conditions like what I had prior to my #brainsurgery. JUST got Home from the Epilepsy Center & I got this Baby Yoda w/Frog Funko Pop at CVS Pharmacy just a few minutes ago as a little Gift to Myself. The Cashier have Me a GREAT deal because it was the last 1 & I promised to help Her Son with some Comic Art!! #LouiesLifeUpdate MY NEW BED! Apparently it's meant for People with Seizures and I think that's also why it COST AS MUCH AS A CAR BASICALLY!
