🎃🎃🎃 We did not have room in our 50 liter backpacks to bring Halloween costumes all the way to Southeast Asia. Living day to day on this trip has been the best...but the fact that Halloween is one of our favorite times of the year we could not just skimp out! Why not just pay $5 to some locals to paint our faces? We pulled up a few examples of pics to show them and they worked hard to make us look similar to anything Day of the Dead style. Part of me wishes I could have found my own face paint on this tiny island, but the other part loved the devotion these two men (not nearly makeup artists) had. We were finalists for couples costume contest at this legit Halloween concert party we attended!!!
