     a simple answer to a simple question.at this point, it was impossible not to know that he’d lied, about several different things. but, most of them were to protect others, in case he had found anything that would put anyone else in danger.

     they were lies that she could respect.

     but, there was one thing he’d said that she was sure that he meant. but, skuld wasn’t so sure it was true. though she didn’t hold a grudge against him for it, knowing that it was part of him wanting to protect her, she couldn’t help but mention it.

     her tone didn’t come out scolding or angry. it was a genuine question, as if she was wondering where they fit into the story that he was talking about. skuld let her feet hang off the fountain, her heels repeatedly hitting the stone as they swung back and forth at a lazy pace.

oh, she was red.

not out of anger, like she would have wanted him to think, but out of embarrassment. he’d asked to meet by the fountain, but she hadn’t expected him to suddenly swoop in and lift her up out of nowhere. and he was laughing about it, too!

she couldn’t help it, his laughter made her smile, and she was laughing a few moments later, no matter how much she was trying to be serious, it rarely lasted around him.

     && you can hear that in her voice; through the way she speaks. in her AURA, through the glow of her petite existance as she stands there; full of GRACE.
