i was actually trying to revise for my ict exam tomorrow but i couldn’t stop thinking about this damn show. i was actually fully set on simon representing judas, as there are so many similarities which i talk about here, and i was trying to find out more which could strengthen that theory.
i ended up researching the other apostles/disciples to see their relationships with jesus and whatever, when i came across peter. at first i was like lol nahhh but then i saw his birth name was simon and i was like shit okay. then i read down and saw some of the things did fit, not as much as judas’ did but they seemed plausible.
then i saw he was “son of john” and i ignored it but then i remembered that there was a character called john who people already suspected, and then i remembered emmett j scanlan’s quote, and then i remembered the undead prophet said “my son” and i had a fucking brainwave lol.
it’s only a theory, there’s a big chance i could be wrong, but i think it’s definitely worth thinking about.
