Thanks for your adive. I load my old savegame and did betrayal first, have the romance option (hold Tristian). I just have to go on Armag's tomb and see if the romance continue with the pre coronation scene. i croos my finger. I think that after this scene, the next step is the dialog during the feast in Pitax where he protect you against a drunk guy ? and after the ring scene ? In my first try, I'm just before Pitax quest.
Heya,yes, you should now get a scene before the coronation where you can tell him you still want to be with him. After that, you will have to see if Saving Grace (his second quest) pops up. If that doesn’t happen, wait until Pitax, attend the tournament and wait until you get the quest to take care of teh bandits, mages and bards. Go to the bandit’s camp, and after some fighting there, one of the bandits will ask you got a second chance. Pick the neutral good choice. Tristian should say something positive about your choice. Next time you go back to the capital, you should then get the ring scene.
Hi ! I'm playing PFKM with tristian romance and I can read that we need to do the betrayal quest first to continue the tristian romance ? Are we sure of this ? I had to begin a new play, too much bug in my first try ^^
Not 100% sure, but several of us that played had the exact same thing happen - if you do Hour of Rage first, you don’t get the dialogue option that says “[Hold Tristian] Let me take you home.” during Betrayer’s Flight. I tried it myself, and I didn’t get that dialogue option. When I went back and did BF first, I did get that dialogue option. (I made a save before making the choice, so there was nothing else different between those two options.) You need that dialogue option to raise the romance “level” to get a pre-coronation scene that is required for the romance to continue. I’d recommend making a manual save before choosing Hour of Rage of Betrayer’s Flight so you can go back if need be. It is possible that this is a bug and that you’re meant to get that dialogue option regardless of which order you do the quests in, but from what I personally experienced and what others at the Owlcat forums experienced, at the moment, you have to do BF first to get the romance. Even then, there are still bugs so you need to do certain specific things to get scenes to trigger. I can post a bit of a walkthrough of how I did it, if there is interest.
