“Who’s that with Reg and the lads?” Glancing across at Paddy, Rose and Eoin both stop their conversation as they see him motion across to the little group on the opposite side of the hotel courtyard. Rose blinks and turns to look at Rel, who’s now tucked under Paddy’s arm and is watching the group with thinly disguised excitement and curiosity. “Ooh, that’s Lucia! She works in the same department as me and Rose. Wonder how she managed to meet up with them? She never normally goes out onto the town unless she’s with us.” Paddy raises an eyebrow at Rel’s explanation and goes back to watching the four of them; Reg, Lucia, Mike and Johnny as they mill about and chat amongst themselves. Rose clicks her fingers together and leans round Eoin to gently poke Rel in the arm. “Hang on, do you not remember those dates everyone went on ages ago? I think you were unwell at the time, now I actually think about it. That’s how I met Andre, and that’s how Lu met Reg.” Rel “aah’s” at Rose’s explanation and goes back to watching Lucia flirt with Reg before they move away from the courtyard and turn the corner, making their way into town. “Well that was interesting, we’ll have to ask them about it later. Come on then, let’s go.” Everyone nods at Eoin’s comment and begins walking again, splitting into their own little groups as they do; Rose with Andre and Rel between Paddy and Eoin. “They’re in for some trouble if they’re taking Lucia out for the night.” Rose laughs at Rel’s mumbled comment and nods her head in agreement, winking at Andre as he looks at her in confusion. Clearing her throat slightly, Rose explains to the group why her and Rel find it so amusing. “Lucia is known in our department for being a bit of a….rebel, shall we say?” “She’s certainly known for her pranks with you Rosie!” Giggling louder this time Rose replies, “what can I say, it’s fun pranking the stuffy boss we have to work under. Silly old sod never knows it’s us either!” Rolling his eyes at his sweetheart’s love of mischief, Andre tickles at her sides, grinning mischievously himself at her shriek of delight. Eoin looks between Rel and Rose with some thoughtfulness on his face, nodding at Paddy when he asks if he’s alright in a low voice. “Aye, love, just had an idea is all. Come on, back to the hotel.”

Ambling along behind the other three, Rose swings hers and Andre’s linked hands between them, humming under her breath and smiling at Andre as he twirls her around and then pulls her close enough to kiss. “Are you warm enough cherie?” Nodding her head, Rose pulls Andre’s jacket tighter around her and tiptoes up to kiss him again. “Oi! You pair! Come on!” Laughing as she pulls away from Andre, Rose grins and sticks her tongue out at Paddy for interrupting, but shuffles under Andre’s now outstretched arm and catches up to the other three. “Yeah, yeah shut up Paddy, we’re here now.” Eoin and Rel both poke Paddy when he goes to say something else so he shuts up and just pulls Rel closer to him, whispering something into her ear that sends her into a flurry of giggles. Raising an eyebrow at her friends giggles Rose steps closer and pokes Eoin to get his attention. “Guess you three won’t be staying in the lounge that long once we get back?” Eoin grins and shakes his head, “not quite lass. We’ll stay for a little bit, Rel said she’d like to dance some more with us once we got back. It’d be a shame for her to miss out on the fun if we dragged her off to our room straight away. Either way, I’ve gotta wait and stay up for Johnny to get back later, I need his help with a prank - but you didn’t hear that from me!” Rose smirks and mimes zipping her mouth shut, knowing that Eoin trusts her - and her close relationship with Andre -  enough to ensure she won’t say a word to anyone even after the prank has been completed. Eoin laughs at Rose’s miming and turns back to his conversation with Rel and Paddy. Reaching the hotel lobby the group pause their laughing and joking to file into the lounge, with Eoin and Paddy beelining straight for the bar while Andre helps Rose and Rel to find seats for them all. “You taking my jacket off at all tonight, cherie?” Rose smirks and winks at Andre, “maybe, maybe not. You’ll find out when we get back to my room.” Gagging playfully at Rose and Andre’s flirting, Rel turns to watch Paddy and Eoin at the bar and flushes with surprise when she sees the both of them already watching her. Eoin winks once he realises Rel’s looking back at him and then turns back to the bar, continuing his conversation with Paddy while they wait for their drinks to be served. Rel blushes even harder as she watches Paddy now wink at her and lean up to say something in Eoin’s ear. Averting her eyes self-consciously, Rel tunes back into the conversation her friend is having, and nervously fiddles with the edge of her dress while she waits for her drink to arrive.
