I've decided that I want to tackle some more...serious topics in this comic. Included might be
Child abuse
Domestic violence
Adoption
Sexual assault
Suicide
Severe bullying
Animal abuse
Parent death
Abandonment
LGBT (and the problems in the community)
Just to name a few off the top of my head. I know mlp isn't necessarily a vessel for some of that but this comic also isn't too focused on cannon and is meant for an older audience imo.
Basically I'm looking at a midpoint between Madoka Magica and Sailor Moon. Not quite as "edgy for edgys sake" as MM can get but not quite as light and sweet as your typical magical girl story.
I guess what I'm asking is, does anyone find this inappropriate? Please give me your reasoning if you do. I may not change my mind about this choice but I will take concerns under advisement.
