The youngest of all of Naraku’s present Incarnations was a naïve and foolish one: possibly the only one of the youkai detached by Naraku to possess the feeling of compassion. And definitely the only one who saw this union as a family: her brothers and sisters, serving their father. It was an emotion that only she possessed, hopelessly wasted on others who could never return those feelings.

But still. Towa had her duties. And she fulfilled them.

How did you get into this franchise/fandom?

well, i was one of those kids who watched inuyasha on toonami! i never really watched-watched it and never fully understood what the fuck was going on other than trying to find the jewel shards, but it was always fun to watch. i remember one saturday on my old flip phone holding up my phone to the tv so i could record fukai mori!!! innocent baby days...

i’ve been in and out of inuyasha in various points in my life; but every time i attempted to seriously sit down to watch/read inuyasha i always... quit asd;fakjsdf but i did have my phases where i liked to read fanfiction and the like despite not having fully seen the medium!

then when yashahime was announced, at first i was like “ohok” then i saw it was a shounen anime with three female main protagonists and i liked towa’s design so i was like “oh sweet i’ll give this a try”

and wow the rest is history!

What’s the best thing about the fandom?

the fanartists and fanfic writers!!! it’s one of the big benefits of an old fandom, and a sequel anime that also helped bring in flesh blood!!! as a poor shipper who is starved by canon content it is especially appreciated 😭

canon doesn’t give us what we want??? we’ll make it ourselves!!!

i’ll admit that there was an oversaturation of events in this fandom that i think stressed out artists and writers more than it helped BUT seeing fandom events also really makes me smile!!! there’s something for everyone, no matter what you ship, in this fandom!!!

While the ocean swallowed some of her pursuers, plenty survived to hunt her yet still. Though broken up and separated the small army persisted until they could regroup. Unfortunately the witch had been found by of one of the sects, men far too eager to bring her head home. Nearly two months now of constant movement had made even the undying witch weary as her energy reserves began depleting. Clever mortals, using their minds for once to engage in a long hunt rather than a short fight. But she can see they are tired, too. Desperate. Sloppy. It only makes her more merciless to see these mortals die on foreign land.

The longsword in hand sank into the ground as she swallowed air and breathed out her potent miasma instead. A concoction meant to degrade organic matter. The cloud of poison formed swiftly, its murky shade engulfing and decaying all life it touched upon. From the men that surrounded her to the trees, the grass, the bushes - fleeing birds fallen mid-flight. The soft hum of nearby insects silencing as she stood within the wake of the death she had crafted.

It takes him a moment to answer. Not because he didn’t know what it was. He didn’t have to think about it because there was only one thing he really regretted in his life.

「巫女」::The miko looked up at the notorious Spider-Monkey and made an unreadable face. It was a rule to never give away the ace up your sleeve, so that you could take the bad guy by surprise and win the battle...It was something she learned from all the TV shows and movies she’d watched when she was little.

                    And she did have something up her sleeve, and she did not intend to reveal what it was---but she could taunt him a little bit, right? Granted-it was her last ditch plan--but it was still something, and she didn’t want to use it right away, cause after-yea--then she’d be actually out of ideas...And lord knew that wouldn’t bode well for her. 

                     But she wasn’t going to tell him that either! Better to let him sweat, wondering what else she actually had! Never give in, never give up, Always Keep Fighting! Those were mottos and words to live by, and she knew it as well as anyone.

                    So when she looked at him, with her unreadable face, she replied in as much of a deadpan tone as she could muster-so he couldn’t read into anything.::

                                                                                                            “You’d think so, huh?”
