ezri dax for the character asks?
thank you <3 Sexuality Headcanon: lesbian, i also kind of get ace lesbian vibes from her (not me projecting my sexuality onto my favs)
Gender Headcanon: given that in canon she struggles with pronouns, and i know it’s because she’s trill, i like to take that as she’s nonbinary. ezri doesn’t really have any preference for any pronouns really/
A ship I have with said character: i do kind of think kiraezri is a cute ship, they had some cute interactions but in general i don’t have any major ships for her. i think ezri should be allowed time to grow into herself as a joined trill before being in a relationship
A BROTP I have with said character: honestly, her and worf are really, really good. i love that despite ezri and worf having a quick fling that it never becomes anything. i love that ezri and worf are friends after that and that ezri and him have rather deep, interesting conversation (see ezri talking to him abt the Klingon empire). i didn’t expect their friendship to be as nice as it was but i love it very much
A NOTP I have with said character: julian, i hate it so much. i won’t talk abt it anymore but i hate it <3
A random headcanon: ezri actually learns how to be a therapist because while she tries in the show, she’s never given any actual education which i hate <3 i think it would also be helpful for her as well, it gives her i purpose to work towards (i don't know much about the books so i have no idea her canon trajectory) which i think she needs.
General Opinion over said character: g-d i love her. her anixety, the way she is questioning herself and isn’t sure of herself, it is all very relatable to me. ezri as a character is someone i can see a lot of myself in, which leads to her being one of may favs but also even if i didn’t i would still love her. i love how despite everything, being thrown into the life of a joint trill despite not ever expecting to, thrown into a state where she isn’t sure who she is anymore or sure of herself, she still tries her best to figure herself out in the middle of everything :). i love her and though she only had one season, she is really good and i hate how the show ended more on her relationship with julian than the actual lovely character she is <3
top 5 books?
Ok this may be a bit embarrassing but I’m not gonna lie, I think I’ve read about 5 books in my entire life lol
Here goes anyway, in no particular order:
- The Marshall illustrated Encyclopaedia of Dinosaurs and Prehistoric Animals, which I used to go through as a child and pick out which dinosaurs I wanted to be lol
- Hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy (I haven’t finished it yet but I really like it so far)
- Foundation by Asimov which I also haven’t finished but also really enjoyed so far
- Hunger games, we had to read it in school and I genuinely really liked it
-I was struggling to remember books I’ve read but how could I forget: Warriors! I loved the warrior cats books although I only read the first 4 or 5 I think?
