it's not a stupid question at all!!

for her reaction, i think tanaz would feel equal parts betrayal and also have her hunch confirmed. she always had a hunch, an undying feeling, an inkling - that it's tae behind it all but there's no way to know, especially with the fact that he was too eager to fix the aftermath for her without any questions, without any explanations.

but the moment she knows for sure that the reason that she wakes up in the middle of the night breaking a sweat is the person in deep REM sleep laying beside her, she would feel betrayed because deep down - somewhere inside she did feel a sense of belonging with him. like the type of attachment you grow with a person that you share a personal space with on a daily basis and it would hurt nonetheless to know that the person betrayed you at such a fundamental level.

i would love to think that she escapes but being loyal to the plot line and the characters, i do believe that tae would manage to trap her. i mean, what's your life without your friends, family, access to wealth, comfort? because tae has the power to take away all of that, he has the power to shun her from society and we all know how much South Korea loves a scandal - like it could be the dumbest thing to the rest of the world but they love to make it a big deal and literally ruin lives and destroy futures.

as a result i don't think tanaz's life would be any different if the scandal gets out, especially considering that tae would try to make it so that it's a big deal and affects her deeply - which is a thought that she cannot shrug off despite her overpowering ideas of walking away from this marriage.

I really, really want to finish the sequel someday. If Limerence is the hurt, Énouement is the healing, and I think they (and we!) deserve that. The problem is Limerence was written at such a unique (read: awful) time of my life, and now that I'm doing so much better, I've had trouble recapturing the headspace ever since. And Limerence means so much to so many people that I put a lot of pressure on myself to make sure the sequel lives up to it, so you can see how those two things spiral me into paralysis 😂 Add to that the fact I've mostly moved on from BNHA...

But I have the whole thing plotted, and I think about it at least once a month, if not more. So, there may be hope.

That's probably more of an answer than you expected! As a treat, I'll leave you with this one line I jotted down in my notes for the sequel last year:

where does it say that narcissistic people cannot fall in love with anyone else other than themselves? his narcissism is how he sees himself, his perspective of himself as a person and has nothing to do with why he likes his wife.

there are many reasons as to why he would be infatuated with his wife, the most important one being that she is a doctor herself, she is intelligent and she gets just how important of a job taehyung does. he does not have to explain to her that what he does is crucial, she knows it and that makes him feel understood, in a sense.

this might be a cliched trope but i do believe that two people who are in the same industry best understand what their jobs encompass, what it demands and how tiring it can be. yes, he could have married any other doctor but by chance, she was the one who caught his eye and he liked her gentle and kind nature, which is easily one of the traits that attract people.
