A network is the connections or interaction and the public is a group who have the same ideas and opinions. So together they share a platform that allows a connection for the public who seeks it.

An enclave is a place or group that is different from those who surround it. They shift over time by responding to current circumstances. The discursive practices are speech, texting, deliberating.

The public sphere theory is where people can come together speak freely about public issues and they can also debate the topic brought up in the meetings. The public in this are a group of people who share the same interest or common beliefs. The role of this theory is to create a conversation in society between the public and governing bodies to try and improve talks about the ideas. It’s a way to debate ideas and concepts to progress a society. Democracy requires a public sphere because every option within the public sphere is taken into account. This will allow all sides to be informed and a chance to voice their opinions.
