all these asshats had to do was add a time plan and 4 sketches (that they got done in class so only had to take a picture of it) for this stupid project pre-lab report to be done. i did everything else. I sent it to them before 3 pm on friday and it was due at 11:59pm. they had plenty of time. did they do it? no. did they tell me after i texted them at 8 pm? no. did they at least submit what we had? no. you don’t fuck up my grade in a class. i base my personal worth over those fucking numbers (yeah its bad but not the point) so saying im livid doesn’t begin to cover it.
A couple of things and whining, and solutions.
I am a currently working on a robot for my senior design project, and I am team lead as well as heading the design of sensor modules. My team is driving me up the walls. The guy who is making the structure and shell has consistently dropped the ball. We just 3D printed the frame for the robot in 4 parts and the guy doesn't put in anyway to adhere the parts. Even though I specifically told him to do so. The other one who was working on the communication system wasted a quarter working on something that failed because he didn't take the time to research of his approach would even work. He just blindly took advice from a his boss at work, and since he was team lead at the time it wasn't challenged. I did a Google search after our meeting last week and it came up right away. I can't deal with ineptitude of this caliber. In my frustration I went ahead and made a video calling server and pulled an all-nighter. I'm now doing both the comm sys development and the sensor development. The one good thing is my advisor and liaison offered me a job when I graduate next year. (I guess I'm going to weapons development?) So because of all of this (and a few other things) I haven't been working out at all, and stress eating like mad. These are not good reasons and are just excuses. I just came across m0tiv8me's tumblr this morning and I really want get myself sorted out. I had great progress considering where I stared but I need to get back to it. I'm going to go for a jog and then do some programming.
it's totally fucking ridiculous that taking one single weekend off (to recuperate my sleeping pattern that's been completely shot to hell) means that I'm at least an entire fucking lecture behind in everything.

Fine, if I could figure out why it's hiccuping. I doubt Sissel wants his pulse to constantly sound like a heart attack.
There is never a point where I'm playing WoW and think to myself.
"Wow, engineering was totally worth it as a profession."
However, nor do I say.
"Wow, engineering was a complete waste of time."
It's like the perfect apathetic profession.
