The difficulty in teaching you math is that math is highly visual, and thus efficient teaching would require pictures instead of text. Where I could show that "two astrics = **", that would require you knowing that an astric is this little thingy: '*'. And to teach you that two plus two equals four, you'd have to know that four is ****. In kindergarten, and be aware that adding is sticking one group with another. In kindergarten, we usually learn this with anything we can hold in large numbers.
