Young Edmond wasn't sorted to Slytherin for nothing: he has managed to smuggle a toaster into Hogwarts and make it work with his mediocre magic. How and why it works — nobody knows, but all that mattered to the kid was finally getting his crispy bread back; but of course, he just HAD to show it to one of his pureblood friends... It happened to be Ramses. Nightingale's reaction proved to be interesting; Ramses is his next guinea pig. With a mischievous smile, he sets bread in and pulls the lever.
RAMSES CARED LITTLE FOR anything Muggle related. It was all barbarism as far as he was concerned, and thus, very much beneath him. However, since he was so fond of a certain bright-eyed Slytherin who had taken to gluing themselves to his side if given the opportunity, his fondness lent way to tolerance (and perhaps just a small bit of intrigue). ❝So…the toast just cooks inside of this contraption? Hmph, Muggles are a strange lot, but I must admit that they do find interesting ways to get things done.❞ Arms crossed, he waited patiently for what would happen next, although he was a little suspicious of how much the other Slytherin would glance in his direction as if expecting something from him. He swore that Edmond had far too much energy and far too much free time.
It was then that the toast emerged from the top with a loud sound, such making Ramses jump as he quickly put distance between himself and the device in question. It was so instant that he had not even realized what he had done until color began to slowly paint his cheeks and embarrassment reared itself. ❝T-That is – Do not give me that look! I was just a bit surprised is all. Forget you saw any of that!❞
