The vision of her legs damaged sparked some of her human emotions: fear. A flaw in her system, there’s no position or place for fear to strike into the system of a cyborg, not one like her either. Even when some of her emotions have been nullified, there are times she feels certain human sensations or emotions, what kind of mistake is this? The same flaw has been detected in LK-7T2, Smoke is not even supposed to pick her up and take her with him, attacking now when their defenses are this low is not the best thing to do.

With so many of them being busy so often, it seemed like it was difficult to get this many people together in one place. But, if anything could bring them all together, it was a party-- a ‘hell yeah, we saved Earthrealm’ party, to be exact. His own unit, other Special Forces folks, some Shirai Ryu, Lin Kuei, and others were all packed into this bar, talking, relaxing, drinking, and having a generally-good time.
Takeda, still a bit sore from events included in that whole ‘saving Earthrealm’ thing, decided to take the nearest seat to him, which happened to be at the bar. Having already finished his first one, he ordered another beer and swiveled around to look out at the party. Even though he wasn’t feeling up to partaking in some of the... louder corners today, it definitely felt good to see everyone so happy, even those he wasn’t exactly familiar with. Even with his mind closed off from actually reading anything, he was still very much aware of the emotions in the room running high, and they in turn kept his own spirits aloft.
With this beer already almost gone, Takeda swiveled again on his stool with the intention to face the bar to order another, but he had apparently been so caught up in people-watching that he hadn’t even bothered to notice the person next to him. He was pretty sure this was Smoke, though he couldn’t remember his actual name. Oops. “Oh-- hey,” he greeted, with a slight but friendly wave of his free hand. “Having fun?”

“You?” Skarlet scoffs, lips curling into a smile underneath the crimson mask. Even if her voice is low and soft as ever, there’s a hinge of annoyance hiding in her tone. Her hand is still tightly wrapped around the sheathe of her blade; a vain threat, she knows, albeit enjoys the illusion of power regardless. “You flatter yourself,” she mumbles out, leaning in closer, “you are anything but a warrior. A coward, perhaps, is more suitable for you.”
Pale fingers press the dagger further into his throat, however she’s still careful not to actually hurt him. Earthrealm and Outworld’s relationship definitely could be better, and she doesn’t want to paint a target on her back by being the reason it worsens. “Tell me, why are you here?” she asks, “tell me, and I might decide to spare you.”
