That’s one teenagers bedroom door shut again, and one to go.  Horizontal returned from Zante looking relatively unscathed and unsunburnt. Princess will have to give up the warm sunshine of Barcelona tomorrow and return to mist and midges.  Spook is now packing to fly to Geneva en route to time an event in The Alps - http://trailaddiction.com/enduro2/. Leaving home at 4am, he and Princess will possibly cross over in the skies.  Spook is timing this event for expenses and a couple of guided holidays in Les Arcs next year.  There is no guarantee - nay, no likelihood - of his wife being the recipent of the 2nd holiday, so I made sure I cooked a couple of pork chops to add to his Delicious dinner tonight.  Firstly, I want him to want to come home, and 2ndly, I need to sell myself as the ideal companion.  And I need to get rid of The Boss and my brother who are much more likely to be in the running.  I could cook them Delicious meals for a start.

Well, one week into my new healthy eating lifestyle, and I do seem to have calmed down a bit.  As long as I throw a chop onto Spooks plate, I should get away with it for a wee while yet.  I haven’t eaten bread or dairy products, or meat (apart from gnawing around Horizontal’s chop bone, just because I was offended by the waste) and have eaten loads of food and not been remotely hungry or had any cravings.  I’ve even managed to get some work done.
