There was no doubt that he was looking at a man who had lead armies at this very moment. Orpheus could only stare wide-eyed at the Rider, unsure of how to speak to the man. This wasn’t someone who was all bark and no bite like Jason. No, just going by looks alone Iskander truly was a warrior. And then seeing how he had been in battle... Well, that was an experience.

If he was honest, the Caster felt like a small child in comparison. Still, he was curious enough that he wanted to try to talk to the man. Shoving his hesitation down, Orpheus mustered a small smile and walked over to the, much taller, man. “You’re quite the sight in combat, Rider. It’s pretty amazing, really...”

       Never would El-Melloi want to have one of his students involved in a Grail War. If he could prevent any of them from showing interest, he would have done anything in his power to sway their desire to pursue it, but it would seem he was too late when it came to Atsuko. The young woman had more promise and capability than he ever had at her age. He was overwhelmingly proud to be her professor, yet he would not deny that his concern for her ran deeper than his pride. Those Command Seals upon her chest had sealed her fate, dragged her into a war that he would have never wanted to repeat. There was no regret for what had happened all those years ago, but he did feel a sense of longing when it came to those involved, that conquering fool’s boisterous laughter all too familiar when he recalled on those days.

       Arms crossed over his chest, he stood behind her, features distorted into an indecipherable expression at the sight of the catalyst in her grasp. If he had to place his trust in any Servant to guide his student, there was no doubt whom he would choose. He only wished their meeting would be different. Unfortunate, but people did not always get what they wanted. Wordlessly, El-Melloi placed a hand upon Atsuko’s shoulder.

       “There is no shame in stalling,” he began, stealing a glance to the forest surrounding them.                  “I wasn’t the picture of confidence during my first Summoning.”

She turned her attention towards the giant of a man, a curious look upon her face before she was pulled up against him. She froze, her cheeks flushing red as she shifted slightly to lean up against him.

For a pharaoh he was much different from the ones she knew. Her brother had a short reign yet held a certain kindness to him. Ozymandias was proud and haughty in his natural position of pharaoh and Cleopatra had an air of elegance that she herself couldn’t replicate.

Yet Iskander himself was a pharaoh. A man who had conquered Egypt. By all means he should have had the blood of of Ra flowing through his veins. Yet he didn’t have the same aura. The aura of the divine but...not of the sun. It was strange yet piqued her curiosity.
