ā this is just as horrifying as i thought it would be ā (from souta)
āWhy?ā He asks softly, with a small tilt of his head. The complete lack of emotion on his face is an almost ridiculous contrast to how his poor, handsome boyfriend looks right now.
The sweating, the trembling, the sheer panic in his eyes; Souta looks ready to faint at any moment. But, this is how it always goes when they end up being dragged into yet another worn down, supposedly haunted building that Kura decided would be a great place to explore.
āI donāt think anyone is here.ā He says, letting his gaze slowly drift around the cold, dark room. ByĀ āanyoneā heās referring to ghosts, of course. But, he figures that actually saying the word would only make Souta freak out more, so itās best to be vague.
āItās just us.ā His voice takes on a note of shyness, accompanied by a hint of red dusting his cheeks. He peeks up at Souta and falls silent for a moment, as though heās thinking about something.
It wouldnāt be the first time that heās distracted Souta from his fear by getting all of his attention focused on him. Itās proved to be plenty effective before and, besides, itās never a bad time to cuddle. Even when itās in an unsettling, decrepit building.
āSouta.ā He murmurs, saying his name in the gentle, sweet way he always does. His arms reach up, letting loosely curled fists rest against the otherās chest and hold onto his shirt. His expression is soft and calm as he looks at him, in an effort to silently reassure him that thereās nothing to be worried about.Ā āIām cold.ā
Is he really? Not too much. But, thatās long since become the code word forĀ āhold me pleaseā. He thinks that Souta is in desperate need of a hug right about now.
