For those that joined the march yesterday up to our State Capitol, you represented a powerful voice, one that has been heard and will continue to be heard as we keep rallying our elected officials to take the action needed to bring the resources to address homelessness. I thank all of you for being compassionate and caring for those homeless individuals that deserve a better quality of life, some homeless through no fault of their own, being disabled, suffering from mental health, or simply senior citizens who are too sick to work and can’t afford to live on their pension, etc. For them, we will fight. For them, we will be the voice that keeps demanding change and helping to bring them the resources we can. We will not give up easy, and we know this battle will be won one day. Please keep joining us on this fight to bring change to California. The march is over but the work still lies ahead. We ask you to be a voice of compassion for the homeless and help to make their life better. Help by providing a bottle of cold water; a sandwich; pair of shoes, or simply smile and say HI. Every person can make a difference in the life of our homeless. Thanks for your continued support of LAC9 and our efforts. #EndHomelessnessCA #losangeles #HomelessCrisis #JerryBrown #GovernorBrown #DeclareAStateOfEmergency #MondayNightMission #LAonCloud9 #RallyofLove #sacramento (at L.A. on Cloud9)
Jerry Brown be DaMan
"Jerry Brown be DaMan release the funds we know you can." -- A Rally of Love in Sacramento
On a balmy, blue sky, summer day ~100 activists from across California marched and rallied on the California State Capitol to voice their concerns with the ever bourgeoning homelessness epidemic in California.
Mel Tillekerante, the founder of Monday Night Mission from Los Angeles, was the catalyst for the event which partnered with "LA on CLoud 9" with the support of Human rights activist groups across the state.
