Days 22 to 24 (Fandom: Enchanted)
Nancy Tremaine is a Wiccan practitioner who runs a bar for supernatural beings in 2007 through a combination of spiritual knowledge and city savvy. One day, a charming and very princely detective named Edward pays a visit from 1941 to seek out her help with a case involving a missing person from his era, which has led him through a portal into hers.
I’m kind of imagining this being how Nancy regularly greets new visitors to her pub (including Edward and those who follow him through that 1940s time portal):
(Of course, since Nancy is technically running her pub in modern day, she might not necessarily need to consult a massive book, though it’s probably more whimsical if she does.)

Disclaimer: I am aware that Wicca is not the default for modern witchcraft, but it felt like the simplest and easiest way for me to convey that Nancy in this AU is a witch in the more “real life” sense, as opposed to what pop culture tends to present us with.
It’s occurred to me that I probably should have made the fandom for today’s prompts that of either Redwood or The Lorax…
