here's my least favourite bolt by a significant margin. you need an extension to reach it but that's totally normal

except. it's a long extension

like ridiculously long

four fucking feet long, to be exact. because you have to reach over the whole ass transmission to get the fucking bolt

which makes it SUPER easy and not at all frustrating to keep using enough pressure to keep it on the bolt AND keep the whole thing straight so you can actually turn it

as an added bonus. it's all overhead work. my hand is ABOVE MY HEAD and my arm is almost fully extended. i have to work on my tip toes for most of this, while also constantly smacking my head on the hoist and lower hanging components

the four foot long extension is super useful, but if you don't have one, never fear. as long as you have extensions, you can make it work. takes a lot of extensions and it's kinda flaccid though

if you're extra unlucky with the angle you're reaching over, you might even need a swivel head. this makes it SO EASY to keep everything straight. it's so fun

For one of the litters I weaned, the mom's card says "cull when litter weaned". Should I cull her? (... yes.)

For one of the litters I weaned, there is one male pup. Should I keep him with his mom so he isn't lonely? (... the only time a male and a female should be housed together is when they're breeding)

For the same litter, the male was removed from the cage so she isn't breeding any more. Should I leave her in the cage we only use for active breeding pairs? (... no.)
