Gideon time...
Desert Worm
The desert worm is a perfect angel and I cannot be convinced otherwise. Behaving mostly like the halfway point between a cow and a slug, it roams the plains of almost every alien planet in Empyrion, and it has no idea what's going on at all, ever. Just look at its huge, eyeless maw! This thing is as insensate as they come. My first instinct is that it uses its bulk in the same way a walrus does, employing its awkward teeth and sheer size to avoid predation. Its other defense is just being so perfect that I will use anything and everything at my disposal to protect it at all costs. If they produced anything of value, I would dedicate entire sections of the world to ranching desert worms. As it stands, they deserve to be wild and free, screaming at the sky like perfect babies. Did I mention they come in HUGE SIZES?

Here’s a new Gideon pic since I haven’t drawn him in a while. Gideon lives alone on a uHub, so he’s fairly far removed from Gloscerra culture. If he lived on-planet, however, things would be a lot different. Gloscerra culture favours bright, flashy outfits with lots of layers to show off different hues and patterns. They’re also big on jewelry and body-paint, especially on Gloscerra(such as Gideon) who lack their own natural flashy colours.

ARACHNID
Ahahahaha, I love this weird thing. It's not an arachnid, as it's missing two entire sets of limbs, but the abdomen on the back seems to suggest that it was at one point some kind of weird spider. The Loch Ness Monster neck is the big question mark of the design, though. It supports some kind of tubular mouth, lacking any visible mouth parts, but in-game it attacks via a venomous bite. The biology going on here is an absolute mystery. The bizarre, furry texture on its carapace even makes it look like it's covered in fake moss. If I were as much of a strange, incoherent mess as this thing, I'd be ready to fight too. Given its unique concept and silhouette, however, I can't help but rate it at least halfway decently. SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF: 2/10 DESIGN COHESION: 2/10 WHAT: 10/10 PERSONAL RATING: 6/10
OVERSEER
Now this is an alien. Not only is the Overseer packing four legs and a big head shield, it drops rocket fuel when it dies. How much more classic alien can you get before you become a bug-eyed green man from Mars? Even so, it's also got some unique details that help it stand on its own merit. The quadrupedal setup it has for its legs gives the Overseer an imposing stature, making its name fit all the better. Each leg ends in a huge talon, though I'm not sure how effective that would be in practice; generally, it's good to have your legs be sturdy and not prone to breaking on uneven terrain. Here, though, it's all about SHEER INTIMIDATION. The Overseer is too large and in charge to care about things like a broken nail, even if the broken nail is 25% of its support system. Also, I bet it takes a ton of offense if you even mention its stubby little arms. SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF: 6/10 DESIGN COHESION: 7/10 CHAD STANCE: 10/10 PERSONAL RATING: 6/10
