                 “...You are awake.” Though his voice only betrays very little surprise. A strangeness sticks to this one along with the odd, cloying smell of their blood--foreign, peculiar, dancing unknown on the traveller’s palate from where it still so faintly perfumes the air. Unspoken of (all in due time), as Carvel’s hand takes itself back from where a wound supposedly had lain deep in the stranger’s side. He blinks. The brightness to his eyes suggests wonder, uncertainty, even as the pale set of his face remains solemnly empty. “You have been like this for some time.” A glance is served absently to the glade that crowds about them in the early morning sunlight, blue and soft between the leaves that sway with the breeze singing gently through. “Do you know what happened to you?”
