I agree with you on the Will thing, as he's my favourite character and the one I think the audience as a whole can relate to the most. Even Billie Joe says he relates to Will a lot, so I feel there probably will be some fleshing out with his story. Oddly enough, I roleplay as Will and have put abuse into my portrayal, as I feel the media doesn't portray men as being in those situations too, and it would be great to spread awareness. It would be a really bold move if they did that in the film.
I’m glad you agree then! That is interesting, I think a lot of us can see just how much power Heather seems to hold over him. I mean, he stayed behind for her and their child and if had attempted to leave after that he’d just be another deadbeat dad. Meanwhile, she’s the one who sings “Nobody likes you” to him, a criticism he takes to heart so much he repeats it in “Homecoming”.But gosh yeah the FILM. We’ve been waiting awhile for that one, I can’t wait to see what ends up happening. That is indeed the perfect opportunity to flesh out the characters.
