☾:Favorite moment from your Muse's canon, and why.
SORRY THIS IS GOING TO GET LONG.

It's my favorite scene because it's probably the moments I really fell in love with Xion and wanted more for her than just tragedy.
Xion knows what Axel does for the Organization at this point. I have no doubt about that. She knows it's his job to come in and clean up the messes, and she's more or less goading him intro destroying her -- but he doesn't. Instead he throws out some angry, hurtful words and he doesn't kill her. Instead he takes her back, because that's what he promised them both that he would do. I mean, she beats the everloving crap out of him, but he goes to all the lengths he can to take her back. And he's not thinking, "this will be the last time." He's thinking that he brought her back and even if the job sucks, so long as he can keep bringing her back somehow things will be okay.
Xion returns to the castle. She's made her final transformation. There is no going back now, anftd so she finds Roxas. Roxas, who at this point just wants the ability to run away. Roxas, who she gives one final gift to. And then she opens up to him for the first time in the entirety of the game, she more or less thanks him for giving her everything. Her identity, the chance for friends, the ability to be a person even if it was only for a little while.
And then Xion does what she's done the whole game. She walks away from him, but for the first time in the game she doesn't run away from him. Instead she lies to him, because Xion never intended to absorb Roxas -- she could never hurt him, not even for the so called "greater good". She knows Roxas too will realize in time that he needs to return to Sora, and so she gives him that extra time to get there by giving herself up first. It had to be one of them and she, being Xion -- who is not as innocent and victimized as people may thing -- forced him to m make a terrible choice.
There's nothing in the world that can convince me she doesn't regret forcing that on him. After watching Re:Coded, she knows what she did to him -- she knows that she was the catalyst to make Roxas go so cold and hold that hurt so deep. It says it on her face every time she looks at Sora.
