#empty platitudes

Apparently my mom thinks people who have anxiety like I do can’t possibly be critical thinkers!! And her reason for saying that to me? Because she has this empty little platitude she always says to me, and she doesn’t get that that empty platitude doesn’t work because my brain is practically in hyperdrive every time she says that shit to me!! And the platitude she always uses is “every problem has a solution”!! Like, unless you’re telling me my anxiety can somehow magically just go away one day, shut the fuck up please!! I was born with this, I will most likely die with this! I’ve tried different ways to manage it, the only one that even semi works is weed!!
