I have not posted anything in a while I was sick and busy. Instagram was taking away rather then adding to my life and I needed to take a mini step back I get so obsessed with followers and what should come next for me and yes those things are important but the answer is ...organically I will just keep on loving and watching the art of comedy and play my hand. So in that spirit I wanted to make a post about #comedybrawl In my honest and well informed opinion I would like to see one of these comics win it no matter what all of these comics are distinctive voices that have 3 very different approaches to comedy and each time they are announced on a lineup I will stay for their set. No competition can change that especially one that is based on one set on one night. @hishamkelati is the vivacious showman he is infectious,vibrant and even on the coldest of shows he warms hearts his African mom is my strict post military dad and there is a complexity to his comedy and his work ethic that I hope people will consider when voting. #selmahindy is a truth teller, with stark delivery and cunning wit that is necessary in these times. Having these things is already fantastic but her ability to apply them is so advanced at such a early stage of her career. I am always listening when Selma takes the mic. Then there is @theleonardchan Leonard is the nice guy who will take you on a long walk to the punchline and he is that person on stage and off. Leonard is a star no matter what and has had a huge year already. If I get over to vote in time It will be for Leonard because this year after a really unfunny thing happened The first comedy show I went to see was Leonard and as I sat in that crowd I started to laugh again and it was the start of things beginning to make sense.
