Interview with Kelly Alden-Kuroki, the second youngest son of Randal Kuroki and Vaughn Alden
Q: What uncommon/common fear do you have?
Hmm...probably being forgotten. I think that's pretty uncommon while being common.
Q: Do you have any pet peeves?
Not really. I'm pretty easy-going. I figure people's habits are something they need in order to survive--know what I mean?
Q: What are 3 items can we find in your bedroom?
Q: What do you notice first in a person?
Their hands. I'm attracted to strong hands that show that someone's a hard worker and/or creative.
Q: On a scale of 1 to 10, how high is your pain tolerance?
Well, others have told me that it's pretty high. Likely 'cuz I've got tattoos all over. I'm not sure that's a useful indicator though.
Q: Do you go into fight or flight mode when under pressure?
I tend to freeze actually. I'm not always sure what to do. So, I'm pretty hesitant at first.
Q: Do you come from a big family? Do you consider yourself a family person?
Yeah...it's pretty big, if you count the extended family. Plus, one of my dad's got remarried. So, that's changed things a lot.
Family person...yeah, I suppose so. What about you?
Q: What animal represents you best?
Q: What is a smell that you dislike?
Perfumes of any kind. I'm pretty sensitive to smell...so, I really hate department stores. Know what I mean?
Q: Have you broken any bones?
Yeah, when I was bouldering. Fell and broke my right shoulder and knee. It sucked. Don't recommend it.
Q: How would a stranger likely describe you?
Silent...until they start talking.
Q: Are you a night owl or a morning bird?
I do my best between 11:30 and 13:30. I was born during those hours, so...
Q: What is a flavor you hate and a flavor you love?
Hate? Hmm...I don't really care what I eat as long as the smell isn't strong. Love? Probably guava. I recently discovered it.
Q: Do you have any hobbies?
Yeah, bouldering, parkour, knitting and photography. Kinda depends on the season.
Q: Boom, surprise birthday party! How do you react to surprises?
Leave. I'm not good with surprises.
Q: Do you like to wear jewelry?
[Laughs] What do you think?
Q: Do you have neat or messy handwriting?
Depends who is trying to read it. Do they have crap handwriting or good handwriting? That's how people judge others, right? Based on their own standards of good or bad?
Q: What are two emotions you feel the most?
Ambivalence. However, if I had to break it down by the four major ones: I'd say happiness and sadness.
Q: Do you have a favorite fabric?
Merino wool and silk, best combined. It feels good in my hands.
Q: What kind of accent do you have?
[Laughs] That's a pretty odd question.
