Soy una empanada

You can serve these mini beef and cheese empanadas at parties or just as a tasty snack. Ground beef and gooey cheddar cheese are wrapped up in a flaky pie crust and put inside. Everyone is sure to love them!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/2 tsp cumin. 1/2 tsp paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts 2 crusts. 1 egg, beaten.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375F 190C. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat. Season the beef mixture with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine. Roll out the pie crusts and use a cookie cutter or glass to cut out small circles. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto one half of each circle, leaving a small border around the edge. Top the beef mixture with shredded cheddar cheese. Fold the other half of the circle over the filling to create a half-moon shape. Use a fork to press the edges together to seal. Brush the tops of the empanadas with beaten egg. Place the empanadas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and crispy. Serve hot and enjoy!
